The Hazelton Hotel opened its much-anticipated Silver Screening Room to have it christened by the Toronto International Film Festival. The Silver Screening Room played host to some of the biggest film premieres of the festival. On the playbill for its inaugural festival was George Clooney's new film Michael Clayton, Brad Pitt's new movie The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Jodie Foster's The Brave One and Ryan Gosling's Lars and The Real Girl, as well as Darfur Now, Fugitive Pieces, Shake Hands with the Devil and Rails & Ties. The Hazelton Hotel also played refuge to the numerous stars that frolicked in the streets of Hollywood North. Sited in and around The Hazelton Hotel were Reese Witherspoon, Terrence Howard, Scarlett Johansson and Jeff Goldblum as well as numerous Canadian personalities and Hollywood executives and producers.

The Silver Screening Room is located on the lower level of The Hazelton Hotel, it offers 5 meter high ceilings, Mohair lined walls, state-of-the-art sound isolation, wide caramel leather loungers and ottomans with side tables and contemporary lamps. But best of all, there is no cell phone reception, this way your movie viewing experience cannot be tampered with. There are also no popcorn and soda fountains here, you can have your private screening catered by Mark McEwan's 'ONE' at The Hazelton Hotel.
The Silver Screening Room is available to rent for screenings, presentations, board meetings and private parties. Enjoy a night at the movies, just like Hollywood does.
